I am a 30-something year-old Latina mamí who has a lot to say.  I’ve always been interested in politics.  Since having my first child in July 2011, my political leanings and thoughts have changed.  Now, when I read or hear about the day’s pertinent issues, the first question that pops into my head is how will this affect my daughter’s future.  This blog is my attempt to answer that question and engage others in conversation about what it means to be a mamí raising children in our global society.
